Kaia Savage

Kaia Blue Savage was both on July 29th at 8:28am.  She weighed 7lbs 12oz and was 20 inches long (tall?).  After six days of life, she seems to be even more mellow than her brother (a feat we thought was impossible for lifeforms with a pulse) and so far she wakes up only once a night. She is also blessed with a natural Mohawk (perhaps it was those Sonic Youth shows her father frequented in his younger days).  The rest is a mystery that we're waiting to discover.

Year -1

Vacation in Maui...	The calm before the storm...	Where it all started...
(two weeks later) I'm skeptical... are you sure you followed the intructions?	(three tests later) Shock.	I'm going to swallow this and then we'll never talk about it again. Ok?

Year 1

 

(8mos later) Greeting the world.	Yeah, so I've got a Mohawk... wanna make somethin of it?	Narcolepsy sets in hard.
Daddy's girl.	Man... what was I thinking in Maui? Although she is pretty cute...	Diplomacy in its purest form.
Milk hangover...	Pondering the possibilities.	First smile
